Q: What is Manitonga?

A: Long before the arrival of the white man, the ancient Algonquin indigenous tribe named the imposing Mont Tremblant peak Manitonga Soutana, “the mountain of the spirits”.

Q: Is breakfast included?

A: At this moment we have no breakfast included. We are working to get our Food Permit. However, we are going to install some vending machines with snacks and beverages.

Q: Does Manitonga Hostel have a bar?

A: Yes, we do. We are also working hard to get our Liquor Permit. In the meantime, you can enjoy some non-alcoholic drinks while playing table football or billiards, or watching a sports game on our big TV screen while sitting by the fireplace.

Q: Does Manitonga Hostel have free WiFi?

A: Yes, we have high-speed wireless Internet throughout the entire property. If you need the password, please contact a staff member.

Q: Is Manitonga Hostel dog-friendly?

A: Although we love our furry little friends, we sadly do not allow dogs, cats, sloths, bears, or any other pets to spend the night.  It is simply too difficult to keep the rooms to our standard of cleanliness while allowing them to stay.

Q: Are the bathrooms shared?

A: All of the rooms at Manitonga Hostel have shared bathrooms. We have bathrooms on the first and second floors.

Q: What time is check-in?

A: Check-in time is at 14:00 hrs. If you’re arriving early, we will gladly hold onto your bags for you until your room is ready.

Q: What time is check-out?

A: Check-out is at 10:30 am daily. We do not allow for late check-out. However, if you plan on going out for the day, we can arrange to hold your bags. And yes, you are always welcome to use the shared spaces at Manitonga Hostel past your check-out time.

Q: Do you accept walks-in without a reservation?

A: Yes, we accept walk-ins until 11:30pm.

Q: I am arriving late at night. Will there be someone available to check me in?

A: There is a staff member on-site 24 hours a day at Manitonga Hostel. If you plan to arrive after 10pm, please inform us by emailing [email protected] or calling us at +1 (819) 425-6008.

Q: Is there a free parking at Manitonga Hostel?

A: Yes! You can park your car in our private parking lot just out front of Manitonga Hostel.

Q: Is there any public transportation in Mont-Tremblant?

A: Mont-Tremblant public transit (TCMT) is a small-scale public transit system that services the resort town of Mont-Tremblant. Service depends on the season and the routes and frequency of service will vary accordingly. For more information you can click here. You can also download this app so you can plan your trip. Our bus stop number is 69 and is called “Du Village & Jasmin”. It is located just in front of Manitonga Hostel. You can check the bus schedule here

Q: How do I get to Manitonga Hostel, Mont-Tremblant from Montreal with a bus?

A: If you are coming from Montreal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, you can take a UBER, a taxi or the 747 bus from there to the Montreal Bus Terminal located at 1717 Berri Street, Montréal, QC H2L 4E9 . There, you can buy a bus ticket from GALLAND BUS COMPANY or you can do it online by clicking here . The bus will arrive to destination located at the Station-service Shell 231, rue de Saint-Jovite. From there, cross the street and take the bus at the bus stop number 31 “De Saint-Jovite – Shell” and get off at the bus stop number 69 “Du Village & Jasmin”. Just in front of you, you will find MANITONGA HOSTEL.
